How it works
Four steps, on your PFG rep's schedule.

Your PFG rep raises it with you.
Growth Grants are offered by Performance Foodservice, not by Ignite XDS. Your rep tells you when your account qualifies and introduces the program. If you would like to raise it first, ask them directly.

A short qualification call.
Twenty minutes with Ignite XDS. We confirm the shape of your restaurant, the POS you use, and whether a Diagnostic is a real fit. If the answer is no, we tell you before anything is submitted.

PFG underwrites the Diagnostic.
The Grant covers the $6,500 Diagnostic. Ignite XDS is paid directly by PFG. You never see the invoice. You do see everything the Diagnostic produces.

You choose what happens next.
Optimization and Margin Watch are paid by the operator at standard pricing, if and when you choose. About a third of Grant recipients decline both and use the cards to work on their own. The Grant does not obligate you to buy anything further.
Who qualifies
PFG accounts your rep believes will benefit.
Qualification is set by Performance Foodservice, not by Ignite XDS. The general shape is independent and small-chain restaurants where a reconciled read of pricing, menu, catering, and AI visibility is likely to change decisions. Your rep is the person who knows both your account and the Grant's current criteria. Start there.
What it is not
Not a rebate. Not a lock-in. Not a data trade.
The Growth Grant is not a purchasing rebate, a distributor lock-in, or a data-for-service trade. Nothing in your Diagnostic obligates you to buy more from PFG, to switch away from any other distributor, or to hand over data beyond what any Diagnostic operator provides. PFG sees the same dashboard read every paying operator's PFG rep would see, and never your invoices or your P&L.
About the Grant
What operators ask before accepting.
If my PFG rep has not mentioned the Grant, does my account not qualify?
Not necessarily. Grants roll out to reps in phases and by region. Ask your rep directly. If your account does not qualify today, the standard Diagnostic price still applies and Ignite XDS will tell you honestly whether that is a good investment.
Do I have to switch to PFG for full purchasing to accept the Grant?
No. Nothing in the Grant obligates you to change your purchasing mix, add categories, or drop another distributor. PFG offers the Grant to accounts they already work with as a way to add value, not to force volume.
What does PFG see about my restaurant?
PFG sees the same dashboard your Ignite team sees. Peer ranges are anonymized. Your food invoices, your P&L, and any figure not derived from your public menu or your POS reconciliation stay with Ignite XDS. Nothing crosses to any other PFG account.
What happens if I decline Optimization or Margin Watch?
Nothing. The Grant is complete when the Diagnostic is delivered. About a third of recipients go no further, and that is a legitimate outcome. Your cards and appendix remain yours.
Can I use the Diagnostic even if I am not a PFG account?
Yes. Margin Lab is an Ignite XDS product, sold directly to any operator at standard pricing. The Grant is one path in. Talking to us is another.
